Regular Prelim
Guidelines
ATTIRE for
our regular events: Sunday Best or Pageant Dress (whichever looks best on your
child) Full glitz IS allowed at any prelim. that DOES NOT SAY all natural. Full
Glitz is welcome but NOT REQUIRED. We judge primarily on facial beauty &
personality. (Modeling counts in older divisions) The attire listed here is for
all PRELIM. Events unless otherwise noted on the events page of our website. At
our prelim. events you will always need a dress and photo. You will not need a
casual/swimwear, etc. unless the form says so. We occasionally have a
casual/swimwear pageant. Should we have one of these events, it will list this
on our website under the date. Otherwise, you will always need a dress.
All Natural Guidelines
ANY EVENT
LISTED AS ALL NATURAL should follow these rules:
Attire:
(Sunday Best or simple, pageant dress ---no full glitz dresses allowed at the
all natural events. Short, simple pageant dresses are allowed as well as some
stones as long as they are NOT FULL GLITZ dresses) All natural also means, no
fake hair, flippers, lashes, etc. Tans are allowed. We do allow pageant
hairstyles and very light makeup. All Natural DOES NOT MEAN that you should come
as you are. This is a beauty pageant and we do expect some effort to placed on
hairstyles & appearance. Light Makeup means: powder, mascara, lip-gloss, etc.
Age appropriate makeup allowed on younger group- meaning (use only enough to
keep the contestant from looking washed out on stage.) Pre-Teen and Teen
divisions may wear full makeup. We ask that no makeup (other than blush and
lip-gloss) be used on 0-11 mo. & 12-23 mo. groups at our all natural events. If
you are in doubt, please call the director.

At our All Natural
Events, you will see many different style dresses. We are displaying pictures
from a recent event so that you will have some ideas as to what type attire is
permitted, etc.
